| Notes: |
Not an exsiccata. With numbered blue labels, with printed title (at least two print versions, one with capital letters and locality area information and printed name of the collector), partly with handwritten locality information and handwritten numbers on the labels. The specimens were probably distributed in heterogeneous sets of duplicates only after the death of Welwitsch in 1872. For information see Alberquerque, S. & Correia, A. I. (2010) and von Mering et al. (2024), https://biss.pensoft.net/article/138921/. According to Hertel & Schreiber (1988) not in M, but at least one specimen of algae was found (see image). For example records see https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/1056071834, https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/1055321017, https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/4012939401, https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/2598786535, https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/2804838301. https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/1057025844, https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/912300767 and https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/2514916332 |
